Pirate Lord Posts: 14 Group: .Pirates Member #2,085 Joined: 11 June 2008	Sailing across the world was no small feat, and not something to be undertaken without great possible rewards for completing it. And sailing from Singapore to the Caribbean was one of those types of journeys. It could take a month, or months, depending upon the winds and the path taken. Sao Feng was fortunate that the journey went quickly, and with relative ease--no storms too threatening, no encounters that were too close to authorities, a rather perilous-less trip. He could only hope that the return would be as free of trying events and dangers, and that it would proceed as speedily as the journey to the Spanish Main. Unlike other pirate lords, he didn't like to leave his "realm" for too long. Some pirate lords anyway. What was the attraction of the Caribbean? What there was so great that you'd want to spend your time there instead of where ever you were lord of? Although this one little island was an attraction, and the reason he came, he just could not see giving up the South China Seas to stay in the Caribbean, even if he was able to have the prophetess there to advise him constantly. The Empress dropped her anchor as close into the island as they could--in a sheltered bay that would protect her from any storms and choppy waters. They lowered a boat and rowed into the bayous, the sounds of insects, and animals all around them, and the slap of the oars against the water. After a short while it cleared a bit and they approached a home erected on stilts from which a soft warm glow permeated the gloom of the swamp. "Here we are," Sao Feng said, taking a hold of the ladder and pulling himself up it followed by his second in command. He had never met the fabled woman and owner of the house in person, but he was curious to see if she was anything like the stories said she was.
