A while back...people may remember that there was a floated concept of a Doctor Who/AG PotC crossover. With some renewed interest...let's try and tackle it once more. I've got some ideas about what could be happening, that I'd be happy to work with other people on (that sounded pompous, I know...but I mean, fly by other and get approval and work together and all that). Some issues to address first: Doctor Who? -- Hrethel has been gone a while, unfortunately, and I don't think he has the time to come back. We're Doctor-less for now, though Isaac has kindly offered to take over the Doctor for us (as #10, which was what was previously decided upon for our version). The villain/monster? -- Becker's is MIA, and was going to handle our villain for this episode...journey...quest....thing. I can take over this part if no one else wants to, and I have some ideas. Capt Jack...Harkness? -- It was decided before that people wanted Captain Jack in this. Probably so that he could square off again our fandoms Captain Jack. I'd like to see him in this, but don't really...I've never played him before. I'm willing to try it, but I have to warn about the likelihood of potential suck-fest (no, not a comment on what he does in his spare time with other people :P) There is also the issue of why he's away from Torchwood at the moment and all that. The Companions: Jack...if in this would count as a companion, but we initially had a vote to determine other companions (pre-series 4), and Rose and Martha were tied, and K9 was voted down. We can have another vote and include more people, or leave them out. Or...if someone is willing to take on a companion, or knows someone from fanfic, or RPing who is willing to play a particular character for a companion (we should leave out Sarah Jane Smith since she's busy) we could always do this. And to figure out who is still in this--Jack and Doc--I take it both of you are still up for this...maybe? Creejak? I'm still in...and I can take one of my characters to play in it I think. Blimey! I'm DEFINITELY in if you'd like a Doctor...the ideas running around in my head about a Doctor watching a Jack vs Jack showdown are far too scary to comprehend... |

It's a pity we can't bring in Captain Jack Aubrey, too, while we're at it...is this what happens when the walls/boundaries between universes start to break down?

Captain Jacks of the worlds, unite! Or fight. The latter would be more amusing. But yeah, I'm still up for it. Don't know enough about DW to contribute something useful, I don't think, but I'm coming along for the ride. |

The Doctor and Captain Jack have been created...and you've got to be ready...sorry, off tanget there. And we have filled the part of the villain. Pending a little bit of plotting, we should be ready to start. And about the villain--for now we'll be keeping the villain's identity secret. That way, it hopefully will be as much of a surprise for everyone as it will be for their characters. But be paranoid--and suspect everyone! It may be who you least expect.
