Just some pairings stuff I made. I apologise, because I know that these are the pairings, or at least one of them, that wins for least liked on here. I'll make some slashy ones too, I promise!     Coming soon: Gillington, Willamaria, Anabeth, Grovette, Grovington, Aubrey/Maturin, Jack/Ana (name tbd), Jibbs, Bartel... And I'm open to other suggested pairings to make them for.

I forgot about Norribeth. But I'm afraid I'd become quite anti-Norribeth after AWE. Sort of...I guess the same way many became anti-Sparrabeth after DMC. I can make one though. Once I have my disks. I have pictures which will work for that. As of now though, I'm stuck working on what I can find. Ick. I can make a special Jack/Barbossa one for you though, once I know what it's properly called (and no, I don't accept Jack/Barbossa, we're good in this fandom with name pairings, we can come up with a good one for them). |

Dude, I was anti-Sparrabeth way before that. I'm such a trend-setter. Not that I was very aggressive about it before; I wouldn't begrudge Jack his little pleasures. (And I do mean little. Hear that, princess? You lack the rudder-and-sails space.)

Jack/Barbossa... Isn't that 'Sparbossa'? (Not that I really know about the namings of pairings... seeing as I'm most active in the Aubreyad fandom, in which the main pairing is Aubrey/Maturin. Just because we get to chuckle at all the 'serious' fans for whom 'Aubrey/Maturin' means the same as 'Aubrey-Maturin'. :D) Edited by George Thompson, 25 Jun 2009, 11:34 PM.

I'm not sure if there is anything official, and if there isn't, it means we get to pick, so of all the possibilities: Barrow, Barbarrow, Sparbossa (Sparrossa?), Jacktor, Jackossa (I think it's alright to mix and match given names with surnames, especially since Barbossa went 2 (?) movies without a given name, all you'd have to work with is the surname)...whichever in the end sounds better. Though it might well just end up like the Jack/Will pairing. Which doesn't really go by a clever blending popularly.
I thought Aubrey-Maturin was they name they chose to go by when they had a civil union?  Or marriage. Depending on where and when you are. Actually when Frost/Nixon came...*collapses onto the floor in a fit of laughter* See? Still does that to me. I'm hopeless. |

*whispers* What about Jack/Ana? I don't have a good name for it. Jackamaria sounds like a disease. Anamack sounds like a McDonalds sandwich. Hmmmm. Well, I've always called it Jackamaria, because it's more opaque than the others and at the very least people will know who is in the pairing. Anarrow just sounds too close to a real world something, and then Jackaria is a real name, though granted with different stress placement than we are using since it isn't a blending. But I'll add it on, and definitely the Jibbs. I also realised I need to make a Bartel one for Jack, since that's totally Jack's domain....

OK... who is the other half of 'Bartel'...? All I'm getting is the Barbossa bit. This is why the weird pairing names are... weird. Grovington, Gillington, Sparrington... are all fairly easy to guess, after all. Most others are rather more obscure. |

I think a lot of pirates fans get off on being different. Or is it the RN/Marines fans in PotC who get off on being different? Maybe it's the latter. It would explain why I hate Scruffy Norrington--because suddenly everyone *liked* Norrington then, and then I couldn't go with the crowd there. Three more down, plenty more to go! (as long as you count all the crackpairings. )Also...anyone want to help me come up with a name for Jack/Giselle/Scarlett or Gibbs/Giselle/Scarlett assuming there isn't one already? |

There is an ongoing joke about Panda's Clue Bat. So I decided to make her a Diablo II cluebat, only, they don't have clue or bat as usable, so I got the closest possible thing for her: Panda's Doom Smasher (Tyrant Club) And then it all got out of hand: Sharpie's Armageddon Spawn (Repeating Crossbow) Jack's Soul (Long War Bow) DB's Death Blow (Battle Darts --and yes, I'm serious, Death Blow was a name I could make there) Alia-Hildwyn's Hotspur (Champion Sword, I could not pass up the Hotspur) Buckles' Dread Buckle (Cutlass) Beckett's Chromatic Ire (Walking Stick -- can't tell what the evil aura is, but it's impregnate, or something close. I read it as impregnate, and I beg by just walking by you he could get you pregnant. He's that potent.  )Elizabeth's Viper Gutter (Girdle, they lacked a chastity belt (I love you PG, seriously, I do...and your version of the character. Most other versions I hate. The evil aura here is "drink blook" or something.) Officer's Order Gorget (amulet) So if anyone else wants a weapon out of Diablo II, lemme know and I'll make you one.
