I have created this character, John Rogers the privateer, with the ultimate intent of turning him into a pirate. Turning to piracy is not what he'd choose, but he'll be thrust into it somehow and eventually find his place in the world. I had the idea of making him Pirate Lord of the Sargasso Sea and a strong player in the Brethren Court... perhaps his background in the Company and rather military inclination could help them organize a fleet and execute strong tactical maneuvers in pitched battle... What say you mates? I'll need a plot and some fellow RPers to do this. |

I was watching your character and I was asking myself if you would need somehow a former corsair, turned to piracy meanwhile... and whose life had fallen appart lately. I am here, ready to help, to be by your side, as you consider appropriate! Look at Andrea's bio for the details... and the part not covered in the details, which is supposed to be the most recent, is that he lost his pirate sweetheart to another... and afterwards he quarrelled with his captain too, so no ship, no... anything for him... He'd need a ship to be on, eventually some friends... If you have something in view how we could meet, where and when... or anything else, I am ready to play with you! If you go to Kingston, I have there a lady of the night, trying to get information for the pirates' use... (Maribel Vargas)... So I am here to play with you if you need any of my characters! |

I'm not exactly sure as to how this will all play out, but as of now Rogers is in Port Royal and is about to get into quite a fix. No doubt His Lordship Cutler Beckett will take a strong interest in his past (maybe he has ties to Admiral George Hunter?) and will undoubtedly do something to Rogers... be it make him an offer he can't refuse, have him arrested, or something else... I was thinking of somehow getting to Kingston, as he wants to obtain a letter of marque and fight for Britain... but that's not his destiny. Much like Mel Gibson's character Benjamin Martin in The Patriot, he will be thrust into a situation that he eventually comes to support and embrace. Let's see what the EIC does to Rogers. I'll do my part to get out of the fix and somehow run into one of your characters. I think another big addition to the plot should be the inclusion of some canon characters like Sparrow, Barbossa, Turner, and Swann. Not necessarily all, but at least one or two. |
